Moorlands Climate Action held an Energy Day event which attracted lots of local people including politicians. Read more about how the day went.
London groups are prepping to campaign for the ULEZ expansion. Several outer London councils are undertaking judicial reviews of ULEZ expansion pledges and London Friends of the Earth network is writing to every councillor in capital over the issue.
A massive congratulations to Toqueer from Brimingham Friends of the Earth who has been awarded a Breaking Down Barriers Action Award for his work engaging people with EcoPark and encouraging those who are disadvantaged or lacking social confidence to go out and enjoy nature.
Bradford Friends of the Earth kick-off! Held at Bradford College, the groups kick-off attracted around 30 people reflecting the diverse make-up of the local area.

East Dorset Friends of the Earth have a thermal imaging camera which they’re going to use to creatively develop the visuals of their United for Warm Homes campaign. Lambeth Friends of the Earth are also testing out their thermal imaging camera. We can’t wait to see the results.

Norwich Friends of the Earth went door knocking to campaign for warm homes. It was a very successful canvas: they got 90 responses, including 20 people who wanted to stay in touch with their campaign.
Great networking: Manchester Friends of the Earth and Whalley Range Climate Action Group met with a new Manchester clean air network to build alliances.

Climate Action Leicester and Leicestershire has been making great progress in getting unions on board in its divestment campaign.
Climate Action Plymouth held a warm homes kick-off event, and launched its book on zero carbon heating in Plymouth. It focused on how we possess the technology to roll out sustainable home heating solutions, but just not the political will. It'll follow up with attendees.
Liverpool Friends of the Earth got invited to hold a campaign stall at a concert arena – nice!
Thanks to a Derby groups email campaigning actions, its local council has now shifted their position in response around the Derbyshire minerals plan.
A massive congratulations to Friends of the Earth member Keri Muldoon who has been nominated for a Citizen of the Year Award in Salford.
Torfaen Friends of the Earth held a social evening with trivia and a raffle. The group enjoys running annual social events to connect with its community, have fun and raise funds for campaigning.

Bury Climate Action was invited to help with its council’s away day, which focused on climate action – great visibility and connection with those in the position to make meaningful change.
South East Climate Alliance held a hugely successful event, “Making local democracy work for the climate”, which was well attended and included talks from Friends of the Earth and Climate Emergency UK. The event was funded by a Friends of the Earth microgrant.
