Make Them Pay demonstration

On 20 September, thousands will march in London to demand climate and economic justice. The biggest polluters like Shell and BP are fuelling the climate crisis while ordinary people pay the price. It’s time to make them pay – and use that money to fund warmer homes, cleaner air, green jobs and lower bills.

Join us and demand fossil fuel giants pay up for the harm they’ve caused.

Introducing Asad Rehman, Friends of the Earth's new Chief Executive

Asad Rehman has been appointed as Friends of the Earth's new Chief Executive and started in the role in August.

Asad joins us from the anti-poverty and social justice organisation War on Want, where he was the Executive Director. He previously worked at Friends of the Earth for over a decade, most notably leading our international climate work. He's the first person of colour to lead Friends of the Earth and brings 4 decades of experience in campaigning for environmental, social and racial justice.

This online session is a chance for local action groups to get to know Asad, hear about his journey to leading Friends of the Earth and what his priorities are for his first months in the job, and put your questions and comments to him.
