North Tyneside Friends of the Earth

Our Friends of the Earth group meets each month on the last Tueday evening at 7.00pm at Whitley bay Big Local, 158, Whitley Road, Whitley Bay, NE26 2LY

We have campaigned on Save the bees, Warm Homes, Air quality, Increasing Tree Cover and keeping Fossil fuels in the ground. We have recently planted a Community Orchard in Richardson Dees park in Wallsend and held a Wasailing event in the orchard in January.

We have close connections with the local and regional Public Transport Users Groups and support other local environmental groups.
