Hillingdon Friends of the Earth

Hillingdon Friends of the Earth (HFoE) is both a Local FoE Group (for more than 30 years) and a Climate Action Group (more recent).

The Local Group has long been active in local environmental issues - Heathrow is in Hillingdon and HS2 cuts a swathe through it - which have climate implications, and climate action is now central to most of what our group does.

Whilst we campaign in the traditional sense, using marches, demos, information stalls, petitions, letters to MPs, etc, we also work closely with Hillingdon Council on progressing their Climate Action Plan, and we have a number of subgroups specialising in Transport, Power & Energy, Buildings & Homes, Consumption & Waste, and Trees & Land-use.
