The Big Climate Plan

The government is legally obliged to write a new climate plan. But there's a real risk this plan will fail to deliver the bold action urgently needed to protect both planet and people.

Let's demand a fairer future from our politicians. Be part of a united movement for people, climate and nature.

Planet over Profit

Behind much of the food we eat and products we consume are powerful companies who drive massive environmental and human destruction in places like the Amazon and Indonesian rainforests.

Friends of the Earth is campaigning with the Corporate Justice Coalition for a new UK law that’ll hold companies, banks and public bodies to account for any socially and environmentally damaging impacts caused by their activities, and ensure they are held liable when harm occurs.

Find out more about how you and your group can hold companies to account for damage they cause.

United for Warm Homes

Sky-high gas prices and heat-leaking homes mean millions of us are worried we won’t be able to keep our homes warm. Meanwhile, oil and gas companies continue to make record-breaking profits.

We have the solutions to cut bills and emissions. But we need decision makers to act now.

Find out how your group can campaign for warm homes locally.

Local climate action

We need our local leaders to deliver ambitious action for climate and nature. Regional mayors and councils both have powers and resources to deliver change, but most aren’t using these as effectively as they should. And government needs to scale up the powers and resources they have.

Together, we can influence local and combined authorities to transform their communities into fairer, more sustainable places for generations to come.

Right to a healthy environment

The state of our rivers and coastlines has made headline news in recent months.

Shockingly, it's not yet illegal for water companies and factory farms to discharge their waste into our rivers.

Join the campaign and demand the right to a healthy environment.

Fossil free future

Across the world we are seeing the devastating impacts of climate breakdown because of our reliance on coal, gas and oil.

But communities have been standing up to the fossil fuel giants and our government’s support of them. We can all play our part in ending support for fossil fuels at home and abroad. We've already had some brilliant successes, but we've still got a long way to go.

Find out more about how you and your group can get involved to help put an end to UK government support for fossil fuels.
