A smiley woman amongst trees

Kierra Box

Kierra Box is a campaigner at Friends of the Earth. She currently works on a range of themes including  defending and improving UK environmental law, strengthening environmental justice here and around the world, and cutting the impact of trade on communities, climate and nature.

Previously, Kierra spent 15 years working on a range of policy and campaign issues across the NGO and charity sector, including around food production, the private rented sector and benefit reform. She's currently chair of GM Freeze and on the management committee for the Trade Justice Movement.

Take to Kierra about:

  • UK environment laws and how they protect people and nature.
  • What the Retained EU Law Act means, and how to save protections which could unravel over the next 3 years.
  • The link between trade and the environment and how international agreements support or undermine environment laws.
  • The human right to a healthy environment in law.
  • Friends of the Earth's work to protect and improve the laws that defend our environment.
  • Geeky secondary legislation excitement.
